Although opportunities vary from year to year, our approach here in Wrexham is to combine our teaching and local outreach in a flowing pattern. This can mean that some weeks will have much more of a focus on teaching, study and application and others much more on an outward, ministry based theme. Despite this flowing pattern, each week will still contain opportunities for personal study, time to meet in small groups and one to ones as well as time for corporate worship, prayer and intercession. YWAM Wrexham is privileged to be connected with various ministries which you will plug into - and there is plenty of room to dream up and create your own projects to impact this town. Some of the ministries we could get involved in might be: l Youth and children's work       l Evangelism to Wrexham's pubbers and clubbers l Work with the homeless and vulnerable      l Practical decorating/gardening projects lHealing on the Streets    l Working with students (international and British) Additionally there will be a total of at least ten weeks overseas outreach built into the 10 months so you will have ample opportunity to experience life in a foreign culture. So, we are confident that the 10 months of the DTS will be a fantastic time of investment getting to know God better - as well as yourself. You will begin working on areas of growth in your life, developing your maturity whilst all the while going out and being a blessing locally and globally. What are you waiting for!
