What else?

We all know that God is pleased by faith (Heb 11:6 'Without faith it is impossible to please God...') and so we can be pretty sure that this is something God wants us to do!

Nurturing your faith and seeing it grow can be one of the most rewarding aspects of faith in Jesus. The Bible makes it clear that nothing is too hard for God (Jer 32:17 'Ah Lord God!...nothing is too hard for you') so the question is not whether God can do it, it is more whether you can believe that God can do it.

This leads us to make 2 key paired statements about God and ourselves:

Ø God is who says He is

Ø God can do what He says can can do
 

Ø I am who God says I am

Ø I can do what God says I can do

What is our response to these? Many people, for a variety of reasons struggle with a full embrace of simple statements like these. If you sense you are one of those people, pause now and ask God to help you understand why.
